So there are two parts to this review. The install and the final product after install. As others have mentioned install is a bit of a challenge. Thankfully I only have a 2' x 3' which weighs 20lbs. Anything larger really does require 2 people. Before anything else I would highly recommend NOT using the included mounting hardware. I went out and purchased a small kit that can handle 35lbs. (Anything larger runs into issues where the screw head will not fit into whole for the back mounting bracket for the dry erase board. 35lbs x 4 means this thing (20lbs) is not going anywhere on the wall. But if you take a look at the picture attached you can see the provided anchors? The gripping section only extends about 1/2 inch. Most drywall is 1/2 of an inch thick. The result means that the provided hardware not only weakens the surrounding drywall as it is expanding out in the form of a cone, it also isn't gripping it from the rear. Its a bad design. It may work for these smaller boards, but frankly if you have a board that is more than 20lbs you should NOT use these, ever.Next. Alignment of the holes. The board comes with a sheet to help you align things. I simply put the sheet on the ground, and laid the board on top. I was careful to trace the edges of the board and then with a fine pen trace the holes. (Critical you use a fine pen as accuracy is critical.)Once done I put a dot at the center of the circle on the paper.I then taped the sheet to the wall making 100% certain it was flat. Here is the catch. The holes in the dry erase board have a bit of room to "wiggle" but not a whole heck of a lot. I would say 2mm max. This means that when it comes time to drill. Start with a small pilot hole and be exceedingly exact. Then drill the hole for the anchors again making sure things are straight when drilling. Remove the template from the wall and install the anchors. Now install the back mounting piece along with the screw for the anchor.Once all this is done move on to mounting the dry erase board.First have all your screws within easy reach. You need 2 readily available.Remove one of the plastic o rings from the screw. (There are 2. One for the front, one for behind the board. There is a trick to this as well if you are one person. hold the board by one corner at the bottom, On the top opposing edge place the screw in and add the o ring on the back side.Lift the board so it aligns with the hole and screw it in. Only screw it in enough that the screw won't fall out. Now being VERY careful not to flex the board (Glass does not like to bend. :) Slowly swing it up, and install the other top screw. Again screw it in just enough that it stays in place. Do not tighten it.I suspect for larger boards this technique would work if you simply have one side of the board on the floor and lift it to the mounting bracket to align it with the hole. Then simply lift the other side. (Or have a chair to have one side sit on as you align the other side. Now work on the bottom. You WILL need to lift the board up a bit to align the hole in the board with the hole in the back mounting hardware. (Again be sure to remove one of the o rings and place it on the back side of the board. It does take some work. This is where your initial accuracy for alignment pays off. Again there is A LITTLE room to move the board up and down but not a whole heck of a lot. I was really concerned for a bit that I didn't get it aligned right but it worked out. Once you have the other 2 screws in place lift the board and tighten everything and you are good to go.The product itself is good. Fingerprints show up easily. This board is large enough that to be accurate you need to lay your arm on it. Eh. No big deal. Its still a quality product. I would recommend but if you can for larger board or anything above 20lbs having a second person is highly recommended. Even if lifting, say 30 - 40 lbs isn't a problem for you the bulk of the thing I would suspect makes it a pain to install.
